Through the Magnifying Glass

A note from Charles Wilson

I have questions. I feel like everybody else either has questions as well or that they should have them. (If they do not, then I fear that they have succumbed to the educational and societal pressure to believe that “thinking is hard!)

I hope here to raise some of those questions and pass them on to others to consider. If I thought I had answers then I would start a religion and demand contributions. I may propose answers and directions, but those are for others to debate or pursue. I will certainly offer my opinion.

I have chosen to use the notion of examining things with a magnifying glass; that is because you can use one to examine details without losing awareness of the larger world around you.

I have already published a number of essays about observations of the human race in often broad strokes. I feel it is time to revisit some of those topics and offer other observations, so follow me:
